Terms of Service

Dogemeat Pay is a Nigerian-based crypto payment solutions platform that empowers merchants and businesses to:

• Create and manage online storefronts.
• Add and manage product listings.
• Generate unique crypto payment links and QR codes.
• Accept secure payments via Solana Pay or traditional cards through integrated payment processors like Paystack.

To use certain features of the Platform, you must register and maintain an active user or merchant account.

By creating an account, you agree to:

• Provide truthful, accurate, current, and complete information during registration.
• Promptly update any account information to keep it current and accurate.
• Maintain the confidentiality of your account credentials and restrict access to your account.
• Accept full responsibility for all activities that occur under your account, whether authorized by you or not.

By using the Platform, you represent and warrant that:

• You are at least eighteen (18) years old.
• You have the legal capacity and authority to enter into binding contracts under the laws of the Federal Republic of Nigeria.
• You are not barred from using the Platform under any applicable laws or sanctions.

• All payments made through the Platform shall be processed via secure crypto payment gateways (such as Solana Pay) or through integrated card processors like Paystack.
• Dogemeat Pay may charge transaction fees, service fees, or other related charges. These fees will be clearly communicated on your merchant dashboard or billing page.
• Refunds, if applicable, will be processed strictly in accordance with Dogemeat Pay's Fairness & Refund Policy, Nigerian consumer protection laws, and any additional merchant-specific refund policies agreed between merchants and their customers.
• Dogemeat Pay is not responsible for refund disputes arising directly between merchants and their customers but may facilitate resolution where possible.

By using the Platform as a merchant, you agree to:

• Provide clear, truthful, and accurate product or service descriptions.
• Fulfill customer orders promptly and ensure timely delivery.
• Respond to and resolve customer inquiries or disputes in good faith.
• Abide by all relevant local business, tax, and consumer protection laws.
• Maintain high standards of professionalism and customer service.
• Not sell any illegal or restricted items, including items prohibited under Nigerian or international law.

• We strive to maintain an uptime of at least 99.9% for the Platform. However, we do not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free operation due to circumstances beyond our reasonable control, including but not limited to routine maintenance, technical failures, cyberattacks, or force majeure events.
• Dogemeat Pay reserves the right to update, modify, or temporarily suspend the Platform (or any part of it) at any time to improve functionality, comply with new regulations, or perform necessary maintenance.

You agree NOT to:

• Use the Platform for any unlawful, harmful, deceptive, or fraudulent activities.
• Attempt to gain unauthorized access to other user accounts, the Platform's servers, or any related systems or networks.
• Transmit any viruses, worms, malware, or other code that could damage or disrupt the Platform.
• Copy, reproduce, modify, adapt, reverse-engineer, decompile, or attempt to derive source code from any portion of the Platform.
• Harvest or scrape any user data or use automated bots without written permission.
• Violate any applicable local, national, or international laws or regulations.

• All content, designs, software, source code, databases, functionality, trademarks, logos, and service marks displayed on the Platform are the exclusive property of Dogemeat Pay and are protected by applicable intellectual property laws.
• Users and merchants are granted a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to use the Platform solely for its intended purpose that is, to create stores, manage products, generate payment links, and process payments securely.
• Any unauthorized use, reproduction, or distribution of Dogemeat Pay's intellectual property is strictly prohibited.

Dogemeat Pay respects your privacy and the security of your data. By using the Platform, you agree that your data will be collected, used, and stored in accordance with our Privacy Policy, which is incorporated by reference into these Terms. We employ industry-standard security measures to protect your data but cannot guarantee absolute security due to the nature of online transactions.

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, Dogemeat Pay, its directors, officers, employees, or affiliates shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising out of or related to your use of (or inability to use) the Platform. In no event shall Dogemeat Pay's total cumulative liability to you exceed the total fees you have paid to us in the preceding three (3) months prior to the event giving rise to the claim.

You agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless Dogemeat Pay and its officers, directors, employees, agents, and affiliates from and against any and all claims, liabilities, damages, losses, costs, and expenses (including reasonable legal fees) arising from or related to:

• Your use or misuse of the Platform.
• Your violation of these Terms.
• Your violation of any applicable laws or the rights of any third party.

Dogemeat Pay reserves the right to suspend or terminate your account and deny access to the Platform at any time, with or without notice, if we believe you have violated these Terms, misused the Platform, or engaged in activities that could harm Dogemeat Pay, other users, or third parties. Upon termination, all rights granted to you under these Terms shall immediately cease.

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the Federal Republic of Nigeria. You agree that any dispute, controversy, or claim arising out of or relating to these Terms shall first be resolved amicably through good-faith negotiations. If unresolved, disputes shall be submitted to binding arbitration in Nigeria under the Arbitration and Conciliation Act, Cap A18, Laws of the Federation of Nigeria.

Dogemeat Pay reserves the right to amend, modify, or update these Terms at any time. If we make material changes, we will notify you by posting the updated Terms on the Platform or by email. Your continued use of the Platform after any changes signifies your acceptance of the revised Terms.
